Clean Cooking for Sustained Ecosystem Project
The Clean Cooking for Sustained Ecosystem (CCOSE) Project is a initiative promoting locally led climate solutions for rural women and their communities. Running from November 2024 to July 2026, the project supports the adoption of biogas technology as a clean cooking alternative to firewood and charcoal.
The Agroecological Soil Restoration Initiative
This is an agroecology project that promotes natural soil restoration and sustainable farming through locally produced biofertilisers. The initiative equips rural women with practical skills to prepare and apply biofertilisers using locally available materials, helping them improve soil fertility, reduce dependence on chemical fertilisers.
Local/Indigenous Seed Pass-On Project
The Seed Pass-On Project is a community-led that promotes the multiplication, sharing, and protection of indigenous and local seed. WEZ supports women to grow drought-tolerant seed varieties, strengthen food sovereignty, and preserve farming knowledge that has been passed down through generations.
